"Godzilla" and "PSYCHO-PASS" Clash in AnimeJapan 2018 Key Visual

Science fiction team up celebrates the 5th anniversary of TOHO animation

As part of the festivities celebrating the 5th anniversary of TOHO animation, a special collaboration visual has been published that pits the main characters of the Godzilla anime film series and the PSYCHO-PASS TV anime series against one another.

The visual depicts Akane Tsunemori facing down Godzilla Earth with her Dominator pistol, and it will be displayed at the TOHO animation booth at the AnimeJapan 2018 convention, which runs from March 22 - 25, 2018, at the Tokyo Big Sight venue in Koto Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Clear file posters of the collaboration visual will also be sold at the neighboring TOHO animation store booth.


The Godzilla anime film series is directed by Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita and features animation by Polygon Pictures and TOHO Animation. The first film in the trilogy, Gozilla - Planet of the Monsters, is currently available via streaming on Netflix. The second film, Godzilla -  City on the Edge of Battle, hits theaters in Japan on May 18, 2018.
